I'm a member of Boise Gun Club, can I bring guest or family members with me?

Absolutely, we are a public range, and we encourage you to bring friends and family to share your enjoyment of the shotgun sports.

Will I need a Username or Password for this site?

No, you can browse this site without a username and password. What you see is what you get on this website. However, we do have a feature in the News section that you can add comments to that particular news item. You will need a username and password for this. We understand that this is not most covenant thing, but this is the only way we can prevent spam and inappropriate items being posted on the site.

Why do I see this image next to my name in the comments, and how do I get my picture (Avatar) next to my name?

Do you rent or have loaner shotguns or do we have to bring our own?

We do not supply shotguns for any of our shoots that we hold at the gun club, nor do we have any for rent. All shooters must bring their own shotguns.

Can I come out to practice even though I am a beginner?

Yes you can. We encourage all skills levels to come out and try the shotgun sports. If you need some assistance with your shooting just ask one of the club members and they will be happy to give you some instruction.

I have some interest in getting into the two sports you offer at your club (Trap & Skeet). My question is if you ever offer a class at your club for new people to the sport like me?

At this time the club does not offer any class. But if you come out and talk to some of our friendly members, we are sure one of them will be willing to help you learn this fun and exciting sport.

I have noticed a new icon at the top of the website. What does this icon mean?

We have recently created a "Fan Page" on the social networking site Facebook.com

What is facebook.com?
Facebook is a social network service and website launched in February 2004 that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc. As of January 2011, Facebook has more than 600 million active users. Users may create a personal profile, add other users as friends and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. We have recently created a twitter account on one of the most popular social networking sites Facebook.com. This way you can get updates via text message on your phone.

What is twitter.com?
Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read messages called tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user's profile page. All users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, compatible external applications (such as for smartphones), or by Short Message Service (SMS) available in certain countries.[9] While the service is free, accessing it through SMS may incur phone service provider fees.
